That's how you know...

I can't believe this is really happening! I have been talking about doing missions since I was a kid and have been praying specifically about Costa Rica for months. You would think that changing my entire life and leaving everything behind in Dallas would be difficult, right? Well, it IS hard, don't get me wrong, but there is a certain inner peace that comes with knowing that you are going in the right direction. When things just fall into place without force, it's totally a God thing. That's how I know it's right. I can't wait to share this journey with you!

Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us! I'll miss you dearly, but I'm so proud of you for really listening to God's call on your life...and for having the faith to follow. Can't wait to hear all about your adventures!

How fun! I didn't realize you were going to Costa Rica. What a great idea to keep a blog for everyone to read while you're there (plus it's a great way to journal with pictures). I'll be praying for you & checking in with your blog.

Kim,
I am so excited for you...and so proud of you! You are doing what so many people talk about, but never get around to. I am amazed by all you have already accomplished in your life. You are a beautiful example of how God works here on earth. You will be in my prayers so often. I am so excited to see you and spend some time catching up on what is ahead for you! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

Hi Kim,
Who did you volunteer with in June of 2008? I was working with Strong Missions and meet a group from Dallas and I thought your picture and story looked familiar. I'm at an Individual Volunteers training in Ohio and that is how I heard your story. I meet Ray also last year....hmm. I also will be in Costa Rica this summer for 2 months. Prayers!
